When I look back, I see for the last decade I have been working as a professional contemporary dancer and a teacher, within dance therapy I explored a relation between psychology and dance. Dance, psychology and pedagogy – these are the fields of my work. Each part fullfils each other and opens something new, something interesting and magical. When I started to dance with my baby, I felt,  how powerful is the moment when you embrace your little one and dive together into the miracle of dance.  Dancing with a baby is not only a joyful time, it is also a gift to each other and an ability to spend some time in a physical, emotional and spiritual connection. It is well known truth, that everything works much stronger when it is done in a group. Therefore, I was more than happy, when I could join the Joimove International Community, which was a sunshine in the new stage of my life. This community makes me ready to share my inspiration and believe in a dance with our babies. Also it gives me an opportunity to start a new movement in my country. Dance is in a human’s nature– let’s enjoy the joy and dance all together!

Education:

Master of  Dance (Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Vilnius, Lithuania);

Bachelor of Psychology (Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas, Lithuania).

Additional training:

Course of Integrative Dance-Movement Psychology and Psychotherapy;

Course of Knowledge of Pedagogy – Psychology. Fundamental of pedagogy, pedagogical psychology, didactics;

Various dance, dance therapy, contact improvisation seminars, workshops and summer schools.
