My name is Eszter Szalma; I was born in Szeged-Hungary. I am a friendly and energetic individual with a passion for both teaching and dancing. I have been performing since I was a child and teaching for over five years, which has provided me with the skills, knowledge and experience to pass on my passion to people of all ages and abilities.
I was studying at BA Single Honours at the University of Roehampton. I became interested in dance at an early age, developing my own unique style using ballet and contemporary techniques. Dance plays a very important role in my life, and it is my aim to teach a younger generation to dance. I have studied dance in my home town in Hungary, as well as at West Thames College, University of Roehampton, and Goucher College. I was studying abroad at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, exposing me to American Modern Dance. With my passion for finding a fusion between ballet and contemporary dance, I am driven to become a qualification teacher at bbodance. I was studying toward at bbodance Extended Level 6 Teaching Diploma. From my teaching qualification course I have learnt many important aspects of pedagogic practice, such as inclusively
After becoming a mother in February 2018, I decided to combine my knowledge and experiences in dance, so I completed my training at Joimove® and became a Joimove teacher. Currently I am teaching class for parents, babies and kids. I am really excited to be part of Joimove community and soon I will be teaching my classes at my own dance school.
