Helping To Make Active Babywearing Safer For Everyone

Joimove International School  (JIS) is committed to creating a positive impact on the world through dance and safe babywearing.

We want all individuals who work with babywearing parents and participate in active babywearing to have access to quality training and information that has been developed and tested by dance, health, and babywearing professionals.

This is Joimove’s motto: “Never miss a chance to dance!” but with our little ones, safety comes first!

At JIS we follow ClauWi®  Trageschule’s babywearing and baby carrier guidelines and provides certification in babywearing dance and movement safety.

We love all dances, especially babywearing dance. We believe it’s the key to creating strong emotional, physical and intellectual bonds with our baby, a way to communicate love through movement.

While dancing and movement is the main activity, doing it safely comes first. Everybody, including baby, needs to feel comfortable, calm and safe. Without this, there is some sharing the moment but less learning,  less comfort and less joy.

Importance of Safety

We understand the importance of safety for every class participant; from baby to grandmother. There are many keys when it comes to babywearing dance:

  1. Babywearing safety
  2. Physical safety
  3. Environmental safety
  4. Hearing safety
  5. Movement safety
  6. Women’s health and baby development

We work hard to ensure every one of our classes, workshops and events are safe. We take safety seriously and share our knowledge with you through our Joimove International School’s  team and programs on how to make dancing with your baby a beautiful and wonderful experience.

Below you can find recent JIS articles, video tutorials and interviews on babywearing dance and movement safety.
